There are a lot of diets out there, crash diets, that just aren't healthy. And, yes, a little weight might come off for a while, but it's impossible to stick with and just down right unhealthy.

I have girlfriend who tried to go the "diet pill" route and had a nasty dizzy spell which almost landed herself in the hospital. I mean sure those pills can work, but is the risk worth it? Not for me.

You could also try doing the old low carb diet thing. But, that diet makes us so miserable that even a few days has us biting everyone's head off. Not only that but our breaths absolutely reek. And, then there's the low energy.

And, let's not forget that the weight that we lose is pretty much all water weight. And, there's just about no vitamins or minerals in the diet. Talk about unhealthy, the list goes on and on.

What's a gal (or guy) to do? There has to be something out there that will shed the pounds fast, effectively, and not be dangerous.

An effective diet is something that we can stick with for a while so we can see real results. Not something that we stop and start. It's that kind of stop and start dieting that helped us put on the weight in the first place.

Well, we're fooling out bodies into dropping the fat. If we cut back too much and too fast all our body wants to do is conserve fat and body weight. Very dumb and unproductive.
